Some know me as MKMK. Welcome to Live & Love Better, where I share what I’m creating these days. My lifestyle and art reflect a form of healthy hedonism in which I choose the good that feels good.

I believe we are divinely guided, protected, and loved. I pursue a dignity-centered life that expands through faith and action. My journals are filled with expressions of what I experience, what I question, and what I hope to be and do. Much of my work begins there.

Day after day, year after year, I walk the coastline and engage with its ongoing transformations. The sea plants I gather become Ocean Bouquets, preserving fleeting beauty. The sand becomes glass beads in my INSIJAM necklaces, encapsulating origins and identity. My reflections become books such as Promises, Openings, and Mirrors. Each piece is a record of presence, time, and life.

I live a contemplative life and use my Prioritizer guidebook to choose what matters most to me. My appreciation for time, repetition, and craftsmanship has deepened and inspired MAQAM, a line of well-made dresses designed to be worn, lived in, and enjoyed for years.

I am devoted to Salah, a meditative practice that aligns mind, body, and spirit towards God and good. From this devotion came Qama, a guidebook to elevate one’s Salah, and Aya Art, to make the beauty of God’s words more visible in our homes and daily lives.

Everything I create is made slowly, intentionally, and with reverence. If something here speaks to you, it may be because it reflects something familiar within you.
